Does it play better if you have a great GRE score along with a great academic profile? Maybe, you never know! the truth is these things can never be gauged! Never answered! There is a guy I met on orkut who has 1530 and 2 national publications, killer acads and awesome recos. Still managed rejects from GTech, Purdue, Ann Arbour, Stanford, UT Austin, Wisconsin-Madison and last….but turns out in no way the least, Texas A&M. He got a single admit from pennsylvania state university and very prudently (if i may say so) decided on trying again next year.
What exactly makes you different? What makes you unique? I have been looking for answers to these questions for a long time now! Simply because I myself have lost all hope and have started getting crazy ideas with absolutely no meaning and sense! What does one need to do to secure an admit from a good university? Well! when I get the answer, I would definately pen it down……………….
