hmmm actually there are many misconceptions prevailing about the consultancies.Many have the opinion that most consultancies swindle.But I think not all of them are like that.some consultancies do geniune job in helping out the students.Some times in worst cases the student may not get admit into the university which the consultancy suggests or the student may be admitted into a university which is very much below his profile.It all depends on how many students applied for that branch and for that session.The results vary widely year by year.So even the predictions made by the consultancy may fail.So its better that we do some home work about the universites for atleast 15 days and depend on the consultancy for the purpose of documentation.

I am very happy for you that you were lucky enough to be BLESSED with a good consultant. To be honest I personally feel the “misconceptions” which you talked about are but harsh realities!! I would not quote my friends or acquaintances who would vouch for the same. But I would like to ask you a very simple question……Though I do concede that you are right about the reasons for the failure on the students part to secure good admits, how exactly do they help you for the money they charge!!? As far as I know the application work can be easily done by us….I feel it is a waste of money which only the affluent can indulge in……

well…no consultancy wants students to advertise badly about them due to thier failure in some cases.So they try their level bests to help out the students.But I also agree that there are some consultancies which have tie ups wid some universities and ultimately succeed in helping those fake universities in filling up their seats.So I advice the students to know well about a consultancy regarding their tie ups etc before joining.There are also some consulatncies which allure students of getting i 20 wid out writing gre and toefl.So I also caution students to be aware of such consultancies.
For the question you asked me that how exactly these consultanices help us for the money they chrage here is my answer.Well no one works for free and that 6k to 9k amount is a reasonable amount for the work they do.Their work will be very useful to students who are undergrads,especially who are very busy wid their curriculum and cannot manage both studies and application process.Those who have completed thier education can easily manage.So it depends.It becomes difficult for an undergraduate student to write gre,toefl an also to investigate about the universties in a single semester,especially for those who apply for fall .So a consultancy can reduce a lot of time.
